Discovering The Stars Of Tommorrow Home
The Talent Show Extravaganza was founded by Jeremiah Thompson in January of 2003. His method would mark a significant change in the traditional talent shows of the 1980's. Typically a talent show consisted of people of various gifts competing against each other for a prize. Many of the talent shows from the 80's would place singers, dancers, comedians, rappers etc. against each other. This is not a fair competition, and many times contestants felt cheated becuase they were the best in their specific field. The Talent Show Extravaganza is diverse in that you only compete against people in your own category. Also we have a registration process that is designed to indentify Professional Artist. This makes the competition even more reasonable because we are looking for amatuer talent. Anyone with a history of vocal coaching doesn't qualify for our competition. Our talent show was also set up as a way to reward our starving artist and give them a chance to develop a creative style through perserverance and commitment. We are always looking for amateur talent from all types of talent. Presently we are taking appointments for our exstensive interview process. Our current category is Singers,Rappers,or Spoken Word. All these fall under vocal ability. Take a look at some more of our advantages. 1. We give out a monetary prize to our 1st,2nd, and 3rd place winners. 2. We give out trophies to our 1st,2nd, and 3rd place winners. 3. We provide our contestants with both dress rehearsals and sound checks prior to the event. 4. All first place winners will qualify to be in our grand finale' where they will have a chance to compete for cash and prizes totalling $5,000.00 dollars or more ( depending on ticket sales ) There is a minimum fee of $50.00 to register to be in the competition which is non-refundable. each contestant must sell 10 tickets to secure their onstage performance including sound check, CD Adaptation. All contestants are given the opportunity to make $2.00 per ticket after they have turned in the ticket money for their ten initial tickets. The sooner you sign up the more time you have to sell your tickets, and come up with the registration cost. It is very easy to sign up: Simply send us an e-mail with your return postal address to the e-mail provided below.
